Yesterday the project research group gathered for the second time at Saïd Business School. The aims of this event were
- to develop further the group's understanding of how "service designers" and enterpreneurs in science and technology companies go about service design;
- to discuss and agree how pairs of service design consultancies and science and technology-based enterprises will work together.
During the morning, representatives from service design consultancies and enterprises each made a presentation about their work. During the afternoon, we broke into groups to discuss and plan how to set up the project pairings in more detail. Another group discussed the sorts of service designing going on within academia and considered the question of how a service design approach would change existing ways of doing things.
As with our other events, the workshop was documented by video, and by scribing and photography (Design Heroine). Subsequent posts will present selections of this material on this blog.
Looks a nice post which having lots of information for blog readers.
